Newport Girls' High School are delighted to yet again be ranked in the Top 100 State Secondary Schools nationally and top in Shropshire by the Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2025.

We are extremely proud to be Shropshire’s only entry in the West Midlands Top 10 having been ranked 8th and 61st nationally out of more than 4100 secondary schools! This places us in the top 1.5% of school nationally for academic achievement and justly reflects the hard work and dedication of our wonderful students, staff, and community. A fantastic accomplishment for all involved!
